A Quick Breakdown of the War in Israel & Palestine

Last weekend, the Hamas government of Palestine launched a surprise attack on Israel, taking innocent people hostage and launching airstrikes on major Israeli cities. Hundreds of people were taken hostage, and are yet to be released.

Benjamin Netanyahu, the prime minister of Israel, has declared war on Palestine, and plans a large retaliation. He states that this is only the beginning of the war and Israel will not tolerate any attacks against them.

This conflict has meant losses to both sides, and this conflict seems to be far from over. The only thing we can do now is hope that a resolution is met before even more damage occurs and lives are lost.
